Naina Devi mandir

Naina Devi Mandir (Night View)
MAA NAINA DEVI ( dedicated to Sati)

Naina Devi Mandir is considered to be one of the most revered Hindu temples in India.
Temple is located on the northern side of the lake. Naina Devi temple dedicated to goddess Sati.

After entering from the Gate there is two big Peepal tree in the left-hand side of the temple and on Right-hand side, there are idols of Lord Hanuman Ji and Ganesh Ji. There is a beautiful lakeside view from the backside of the temple.

Nainital lake (Naini lake)


Nainital Lake is a natural freshwater body, situated amidst the township of Nainital in Kumaon. Naini Lake is about 49 hact in area and about 1.5km in length. Max depth of Naini lake is about 30m or 99ft.

Naini lake will be your 1st interaction with Nainital after entering Nainital you will be able to see Naini Lake. the whole lake is filled with boats and many more adventure activities.

Going Up few km above Nainital lake stunning view you can see.

Inside lake there is good facilities of boating. you can send an hours in boating by taking boat on rent.

You can also take a ticket near Naini lake and they will take you for boating.
The boating charge is very reasonable for everyone.

Camel’s back

Camel’s back is one of the best places in Nainital. This is the most attractive place. Camel’s back mountain is in the shape of the back of a camel.
Camel’s back is popularly known for horse riding and Nature walk.

 It is also famous by the name of Deopatta’s back

During Peak season Rock climbing training sessions also happen here.
In Camel’s peaks, you can take adventurous fun along with interaction with nature.

Camel’s is going to be the best place if you are Nature Lover and if you know How to enjoy in peace.

If you want to enjoy the sunset visit early evening to Camel’s back to enjoy  exceptionally salubrious sunset.

Nainital Zoo

G.B Pant High Altitude Nainital Zoo

G.B Pant High Altitude Nainital Zoo is about 1.5 km from the Nainital lake.
The Zoo is a high-altitude zoo located on the Sher Ka Danda hill at a height of 2,100m or 6900 ft above sea level.

The zoo is spread over a green area of 4.6 hectares or 11 acres. It was established in 1984 and was opened to visitors in the year 1995. The zoo was officially named Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant High Altitude Zoo in 2002. 

In G.B Pant High Altitude Zoo where you can various endangered species like the Royal Bengal Tiger, Sambar, Tibetan Wolves, Leopard Cat, Barking Deer, Japanese Macaque, and the Himalayan bear. The zoo also houses various birds like Golden Pheasant, Rose-ringed Parakeet, Kalij Pheasant, Lady Amherst Pheasant, Steppe Eagle, Hill Partridge, White Peafowl, Blossom Headed Parakeet.

Here you enjoy another level of beauty of Nature. the surrounding air is filled with freshness and pleasant melodic bird voice.

Snow View Point

The snow viewpoint is located at Hill Top of Mallital. Snow View Point is about 3.8 km from the lake. it can be easily reached within 20min.

The main attraction of this point is to See the peak of the Himalayas from Nainital.


During winter the whole Land is covered with snow. this snowy Land attracts tourists the most.
Many fun Activities along with some adventurous activity can be seen in the month of November – February .

You can witness the beauty Snow View Point offers without any entry fees. However, you will have to pay for reaching there (via cab or ropeway).

The snow viewpoint is open on all days of the week from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm except for Saturday.
It would be best if you avoid visiting the place during monsoon as there is always a risk of landslide and the clouds hinder the view of snowy peaks.

You can reach Snow Viewpoint by two-mode of transport:
1) Booking Cab
2) Aerial ropeway

The aerial ropeway is the best and most preferred way to reach Snow View Point. The cable car pickup point is in front of the Naini lake, which itself is a beautiful and most-visited tourist destination in Nainital. The charges for a two-way ticket are Rs. 300 for adults and Rs. 200 for children.

 Booking a taxi cab from Mallital to Snow View Point. Cab will drop you at the destination itself. This is the best way to visit snow point if you have a senior citizen or a small age child.

Aerial Ropeway Nainital

Aerial Ropeway of Nainital is one of the safest ropeway of india. It can be said that it is the center of attraction of attraction for every tourist.

Every one can see the Beautiful of Nainital or salubrious Nainital within a few minutes. Every tourists must take the adventurous ride in aerial rope-way which connects Snow view point with Mallital. It takes less than 3 minutes to reach Snow view point in aerial rope-way.

The Mall Road

The mall road of Nainital is just after Naina Devi mandir. Mall Road officially renamed as Govind Ballabh Pant Marg, the Mall road still locally called and famous by its previous name. Tourists and locals likes to walk on the Mall to enjoy the beauty of Naini Lake mostly in the evening. 

Many Tourists visit there for shoping. This is also famous for Street food.Mall road is your go-to place for some delicious food, especially if you are a momo-lover, it is heaven for you. Other attractions include local craft, woollens and candles. If, after the exceptional scenic beauty Nainital has something to offer to its visitors, it’s the candles and other aromatic products.

The day time is generally crowded as locals and tourists visit the place for shopping and strolling. The mall is home to a number of hotels, shops, banks, commercial buildings, travel agencies and restaurants and cafes.
